What material is used to fill the cavity?
Powersave Insulation Ltd uses bonded bead to insulate the cavity. Bonded bead is expanded polystyrene spheres typically 4mm in diameter that are injected into the cavity through an atomised mist of glue. It fills the cavity and sets but still maintains the integrity of the cavity allowing it to breathe and to drain. To install cavity wall insulation using bonded bead, 66% LESS holes are drilled in your building than with the fibre system. This makes the installation time quicker and the making good time easier.

Are grants available for this work?
Yes. If you are in receipt of a qualifying benefit as shown on the enquiry form, you may qualify to have your insulation carried out free of charge. If you don't receive a benefit, we can still apply funding from a utility company and carry out your cavity wall insulation for as little as £250.
